Kaguyak volcano is lake-filled caldera, 2.5-km (1.5 mi) in diameter, that truncates a former stratovolcano. Postcaldera lava domes form a prominent peninsula and a small island. Fourpeaked Mountain, a little-studied volcano, is on the skyline at left. Photograph by C. Nye, Alaska Division of Geological and Geophysical Surveys, August, 1982.
