Description: From Hubbard (1931): "The day [in 1922] was unusually clear, and Martin, Mageik, and Kukak volcanoes were sending graceful columns of smoke high in the air, the ship's sextant giving the height of Martin's plume as close to 20,000 feet." This activity does not constitute a volcanic eruption.
