| 1987-11-16 | | Carlisle: 1987 | From Reeder (1990): "At 1500LT ( = GMT - 10 hours) 28 August 1987, Scott Kerr and Pete Galaktionoff, residents of Dutch Harbor, observed from Chuginadak Island as they were climbing Mount Cleveland steam emissions from the summit of Carlisle volcano that rose for several hundred meters. Such steam emissions were common during the latter part of August.
