1953-07-00Griggs: 1953 From Muller and others (1954): "During July [1953] mild fumarolic activity was reported near the crest of Knife Peak [Griggs] by Lt. James Mulkern, pilot with a topographic survey unit of the Army Corps of Engineers. This peak has no history of more vigorous activity."
