(
Station: PVV_EHZ_AV)
Flowage events, probably lahars (or mudflows) are being seen at PVV, a seismograph station on the southeast side of Pavlof Volcano. Volcanic debris and melt water is flowing periodically down the southeast side and shows up clearly on PVV. For flow events note that the amplitude increase occurs only PVV, suggesting that the event is near that station. An energetic event at the summit vent would show on all the stations. Data gaps seen on PVV are related to phone line from the data collection point to AVO offices.
