REDOUBT VOLCANO (VNUM #313030)
60°29'7" N 152°44'38" W, Summit Elevation 10197 ft (3108 m)

Seismic activity at Redoubt is low, but above background levels. It remains possible for unrest at the volcano to change rapidly, advancing from relatively low levels to eruption in time periods as short as 24 hours or less.

A Magnitude 4.0 regional tectonic earthquake occurred at 3:25 AKDT this morning, approximately 31 miles west-southwest of Redoubt. This event was not associated with the volcano.

Satellite images of Redoubt have been osbcured by clouds over the past 24 hours, and webcam views are obscured by snow and ice.

AVO will continue to monitor Redoubt closely, but will no longer be formally staffed 24 hours per day.

Seismic activity remains low. Clouds obscure the volcano in satellite views.

AVO has received no new reports of activity at Cleveland. Satellite views have been obscured by clouds for the past 24 hours.
