Clear web cam views show a nice steam plume from Redoubt today. Clear satellite views show nothing unusual. A field crew is again visiting Redoubt today to make geological observations. A gas measurement flight is also underway.

In the unlikely event of a major dome collapse, significant ash production, hot block-and-ash flows, and flooding in the Drift River valley could all result.

AVO continuously monitors Redoubt with an alarm system that alerts on-call staff of potential unrest.

Seismic activity at Shishaldin remains low. Mostly cloudy satellite and web cam views show nothing unusual today.
