Eruptive activity at Pavlof, if continuing, is at a very low level. Seismicity remains slightly elevated. There have been no airwave signals from small explosions observed over the past day. Slightly elevated surface temperatures were observed in one satellite image over the past day, related to the cooling of the eruption deposits from the previous week. No ash emissions detected in satellite data or reported by pilots. Web camera images have been obscured by clouds.

Although the eruption has diminished greatly, it is possible for conditions to change at any time and more significant ash emissions may resume with little to no warning. Pauses of days to weeks are common during eruptive episodes at Pavlof. AVO will continue to monitor the volcano closely.

Current Volcano Alert Level: ADVISORY
Current Aviation Color Code: YELLOW

No significant activity observed in cloudy satellite views of the volcano over the past 24 hours. No signals of note were detected in seismic or infrasound (pressure sensor) data.
