* 1. Unless otherwise noted, major element analyses by M. Budd, trace element analysis by isotope dilution mass spectrometry, except Zr, Y, and starred Sr and Rb analyses, by x-ray fluorescence. 2. Samples from Okmok volcano, Umnak Island (UM series), Faris volcano, Unimak Island (SAR series), Mt. Vsevidof, Umnak Island (AB21, AB26), Mt. Recheshnoi, Umnak Island (AB23), Mt. Simeon, Unimak Island (SIM2), Bogoslof Island (B1927), Mt. Moffett, Adak Island (ADK58), and Kanaga Island (KAN-1). Sample location and description references L. Byers (1961), DeLong et al (1975), Arculus et al (1976), Kay et al (1976). Analysis AB21, AB34, AB26, and ADK58 by A Walker (Walker, 1974). 3. Analysis from Bauer (1970), trace element analysis from Kay and Hubbard (1976). 4. Chayes (1969) errors are +/- 1 sigma. 5. Kay et al (1970) ocean ridge basalt. Trace element analyses are new. *
