Multiple layers of volcaniclastics and lava flows are exposed in the crater wall of Cone E in Okmok volcano's caldera. The 1997 Cone A lava flow is in the foreground at the base of Cone E. The steep walls of Okmok caldera are seen on the skyline in the background.
