Video showing six hours of seismic data leading up to the May 25, 2021 Great Sitkin eruption. The number of earthquakes steadily increases leading up to the eruption at 05:04 UTC (09:04 AKDT), when the earthquakes cease. The top panel shows the spectrogram, and below is the seismic data. The audio is the subaudible seismic signal mapped to the range of human hearing. Video created by David Fee and Liam Toney, UAFGI/AVO.
