Cumulative line-of-sight (LOS) displacements for Sentinel-1 ascending paths 79 between 2018 -09-08 and 2023-02-14. Regional deformation due to tectonics and Glacial Isostatic Adjustment largely removed by referencing the deformation to observations at marked reference pixel. Time series in bottom right shows temporal evolution of deformation near the summit of Mt. Edgecumbe with only subtle seasonal signals until August 2018 followed by a sharp inflection with annual LOS deformation rates of up to 7.4 cm/yr.
Right top panel shows earthquake epicenters near Kruzof Island from 2010 through 2023 using data products generated by the Alaska Earthquake Center and obtained via the ANSS Combined Catalog. Lower panel in inset shows earthquake focal depth versus time from 2010 to the present with blue symbols for from 2020 through 2021 and red symbols since 2021.
