Zoomed-in view of the lava dome in the summit crater of Redoubt Volcano. The dome was emplaced following the April 4, 2009 eruption. Steam and volcanic gas continue to rise from the still-cooling dome. Ice and snow beginning to cover the dome and fill in the crater.
