Text Description: sampled pumice from an indurated pf deposit. Deposit consists of inflated pumice up to 50 cm in diameter and angular to sub-rounded, dense lithics of andesite(?) boulders up to 1.5m in diameter. Deposit is cliff-forming and possibly underlies glacial till, much like we saw at stop near sample 04JSCH008. See station 08JRSCH062 for better location and section description. References: ![]() |
