Lava sample from ancestral Mt. Spurr east of Kidazgeni Glacier. Sample AMS-A05 of Nye and Turner (1990). Sample from section of thick lavas and pyroclastic flows. Flows are massive with contorted columns and huge buttresses. Very hard to infer any kind of stratigraphy even on 1000' cliffs. 1353 m elevation = 4439'.
