Text Description:
Charley River tephra consists mostly of fine-grained pumiceous glass with a small amount of blocky, poorly vesicular glass. It is heavily contaminated with detrital minerals, but a few primary grains of feldspar, FeTi oxides, biotite, hornblende, orthopyroxene, and apatite were identified.
