Text Description:
Sample from southwest flank 490’ asl. Fine-grained basaltic andesite dominated by plagioclase laths which are typically 0.5 x 0.1 mm, and up to 1 mm long, with intergranular pyroxene and microcrystalline material. Few microphenocrysts of olivine up to 0.3 mm long.
