Text Description:
Sparsely phyric andesite from low on south-southeast flank of Vsevidof. About 220’ asl. Sparsely porphyritic andesite with sparse phenocrysts of plagioclase (<2%, 1.3 x 0.4 mm) and pyroxene (<1%, up to 0.5 mm diameter), and 5% microphenocrysts dominated by plagioclase (0.5 x 0.1 mm) in a felty microcrystalline groundmass.
