Latitude and longitude determined using Google Earth. | Kiska sample collected by Memorial University (St. Johns, NL, CA) ornithology group. Bag label is Sirius Point. <Hand sample description: Extremely xl-rich andesite. Pl is nearly half the rock, including void space -- so pl/(xls+dense gms) must be over half. Xls 1-4mm, with fairly even size grading. Pl>px. Irregular voids filled rimmed by rust-red gms. Glass threads not seen. Rock has same dry, abrasive, granular feel as "cinder block" from Augustine '06. This must have been a barely mobile xl mush. It would be interesting to see glass composition.> | 10KI01 | Lava | Whole-rock | 58.85 | 0.805 | 17.23 | 0.159 | 3.47 | 7.07 | 3.58 | 1.558 | 0.119 | 98.95 | 13291 | XRF | 7.16 | 1.48273 | 33 | 416 | 333 | 12 | 26 | 3.5406 | 16 | 4.03047 | 1.15793 | 4.08947 | 0.68121 | 4.33225 | 0.9111 | 2.60697 | 0.39447 | 2.55654 | 0.40269 | 25 | 137 | 3.9 | 3.71656 | 0.21918 | 5 | 2 | 1.27805 | 19 | 180 | 10 | 10 | 36 | 68 | 18 | 13291 | ICPMS: Cs, Pr, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, Lu, Hf, Ta, U; XRF: Rb, Ba, Sr, La, Ce, Nd, Y, Zr, Nb, Pb, Th, Sc, V, Cr, Ni, Cu, Zn, Ga; |
