Text Description: Fairly dark, likely basaltic andesite. More plag. phyric than the bombs from the source cone. Still with minor olivine.On lava flow from Bomb Palace cone. Flow is spatter fed (?). Lava is much more plage phyri than bombs on cone. Floow (and cone) seem to be above fissure (stratigraphically) and would be younger if this is true. References: ![]() |
