 Text Description:
22x12x10 cm sample of cinderblock pumice, weighing 2.4 kg, and is 30% gray throughout., 15% plagioclase phenocrysts 2-3mm long. Groundmass is largely crystalline, equigranular plagioclase plus pyroxene held together by threads of glass which are generally parallel, suggesting directional shear. Irregular void spaces are <1-10 mm in size.
