Slightly vesicular sample of prehistoric spines. Phenocrysts of plagioclase, hypersthene, augite, minor skeletal olivine, and a trace of opacite-rimmed hornblende in a microcrystalline groundmass of plagioclase microlites, Fe-Ti oxides, and pyroxenes. Plagioclase glomerocrysts are common and plagioclase often has inclusions of brown partially devitrified glass
