Sample from dense, less devitrified 1.5m block from monolithic block and ash flow deposit. Willie took sample of more devitrified rock for possible Ar-Ar dating. Prismatically jointed blocks, xtl-rich, devitrified andesite in ashy, to sand-size matrix. Abundant visible dark opx and plag in clasts. Chose sample 05WESCH008 for Ar/Ar dating.
