Text Description: Wrangell Lava. Young basalts and basaltic andesites (Pleistocene). Erupted from a vent, or group of vents, on the north flank of Tanada shield volcano. Flows. Chiefly dark gray to grayish-black, thin to medium (2-5 m), olivine basalt and basaltic andesite flows. * * * Whole rock K-Ar age of sample 81-ASj-86 (map locality 19) is 0.97 +/- 0.05 Ma (table 2).
