Text Description:
Float in creek bed from Dome D at Site 12. Fine grained, weakly porphyritic with a matrix of symplectic feldspar and quartz. Phenocrysts of feldspar are present. There are several small blue, green and brown microphenocrysts present. Apatite needles are also present.
