Text Description:
Outcrop appears to be a 80-90' flow or dike(?) characterized by vertical jointing. Sample breaks conchoidally, suggesting a high silica content. Sample contains 5-7% large (6 mm in length, 1 mm width) acicular plagioclase in a black glassy groundmass. No visible ferromagnesian minerals.
