Text Description:
Knob on the side of Jaeger Mesa. Joints are semi-horizontal and sub-polygonal with a diameter of approx. 12". Sample contains 10-15% 1-2 mm acicular plagioclase phenocrysts in a black sugary groundmass. Hand sample differs from 13 and 14, although all three may be part of one massive 300' flow.
