This is a questionable event.

Start: 1953 Observed

Tephra plume: BibCard
Eruption Type:Explosive

Description: Powers (1958) reports an ash eruption at Akutan from 1948-1953. Other compilers state only an eruption or possible eruption at Akutan in 1953.
