Description: From Jicha (2009): "One of the numerous thin basaltic andesitic flows that form a steep cliff of the western shoreline gave a 40Ar/39Ar plateau age of 5.8+/-3.1 ka (Table 1 [in original text])."

"Following subaerial basaltic andesitic effusions at ~15 ka, a series of thin basaltic andesitic flows formed the western and central sector of the island at ~5.8 ka."
