No activity was observed at Cleveland in clear satellite images during the past 24 hours. A few small local earthquakes have been detected in seismic data over the past day. Nothing significant seen in infrasound (pressure sensor) data.
AVO scientists conduct daily checks of earthquake activity at all seismically-monitored volcanoes, examine web camera and satellite images for evidence of airborne ash and elevated surface temperatures, and consult other monitoring data as needed.
