No activity observed at Cleveland in cloudy satellite images over the past day. A few small local earthquakes were recorded on a seismic station at the volcano. Nothing significant seen in infrasound (pressure sensor) data.
AVO scientists conduct daily checks of earthquake activity at all seismically-monitored volcanoes, examine web camera and satellite images for evidence of airborne ash and elevated surface temperatures, and consult other monitoring data as needed.
