Aerial view from the southwest down onto the 2009 summit lava dome at Redoubt Volcano. Mostly steam and some gas continue to issue from fumaroles on the dome, and snow and ice accumulation are gradually burying the dome. Image was taken during the annual Cook Inlet volcanoes gas-measuring flight.
