Immediately after, or during the waning stages of the 2008 eruption the uppermost fine-grained eruption deposits sloughed, forming extensive debris flows (Qd). Areas labeled Q8p are 2008 deposits where the uppermost layer has not been remobilized. (A) Is an oblique view of a satellite image from September 17, 2008. (B) Is a field photograph taken by Jeff Williams (USFWS) on June 13, 2009. (C) Is a field photograph taken by Chris Nye on June 13, 2009.
