AVO Image

Sentinel-2 satellite image of Veniaminof volcano acquired Dec. 5, 2018. Three lava flow lobes are evident in the image with relative ages 1 (oldest) and 3 (youngest). AVO became aware of flow 3 on Nov. 29, 2018. It is uncertain when this flow first formed as the volcano was obscured by clouds for some time prior to Nov. 29.
