Installation of AVO's new seismic and GNSS network at Mt. Edgecumbe volcano, August 20-29 2023. AVO field technician Max Kaufman constructs GNSS antenna monument at site EDES on the east flank of the mountain. 12 ft long by 1" stainless steel rods are driven 7 ft into the muskeg, then trimmed and welded together at the top.
