Installation of AVO's new seismic and GNSS network at Mt. Edgecumbe volcano, August 20-29 2023. AVO field technician Max Kaufman and UAF Geodesy professor Ronni Grapenthin construct GNSS antenna monument at site EDCR on Crater Ridge. 12 ft long by 1" stainless steel rods are driven 7 ft into the ground, and welded together at the top.
