View from the Maritime Maid on one of our windiest days; occasional gusts reaching 80 - 100 mph smacked the boat as we hid in the lee of Tana volcano on the eastern shoreline of Chuginadak Island. Helicopter operations were not possible and the crew was ever-mindful to ensure that the ship was well-secured to the helideck. Towards the end of the storm, a complete rainbow appeared to the east.
